Scuba Diving Options
2 Tank Dive
This is a 4 hrs trip from when you arrive at our dive shop and is for certified divers only. It includes:
• 2 dives at 2 of the best sites in Roatan’s beautiful Marine Park
• All dives are lead by a PADI dive master or instructor
Our reef here on Roatan is really spectacular and very healthy and not to be missed. Our conditions are some of the best in the world with warm seas, calm water, very little current and great visibility. You can expect to see plenty of exotic fish, hopefully a turtle and maybe some rays, eels, lobster and conch. Your guide will be able to point out lots of interesting things, big and small.
We go any day of the week and you can start the tour at 7.15am, 8.30am, 10.30am, 12.30pm. Please contact us if these times do not fit your schedule and we should be able to work something out.
Price: 2 tanks $90 plus $10 if you need to rent equipment.
If some in your party only want to snorkel they can accompany any diver for an additional $20 which includes equipment.
Discover Scuba Diving
This is a 4 hrs trip from when you arrive at our dive shop. It includes:
• Classroom instruction
• In-water demos and testing
• Shallow dive
• 4 divers for every instructor (small groups!)
Your PADI instructor will take you through a introduction to scuba diving, known as a DSD. After 30 minutes of classroom instruction and 30 minutes of in-water demonstration and testing, in very shallow water, just off our beach, you will then be taken on a controlled, shallow dive. With just 4 divers per instructor, you will quickly learn the skills necessary to do a safe, monitored dive. The dive will last up to an hour, depending on your rate of breathing. If you have never experienced SCUBA before, you are in for a real treat.
We go any day of the week and you can start the tour at 7.30am, 9am, 12 noon. Please contact us if these times do not fit your schedule and we should be able to work something out.
Cost - $110
PADI Open Water certification dives
This tour is 4 hrs long and includes the following:
• PADI Open Water Certification Dives #1 and #2 OR #3 and #4.
• All equipment will be provided.
• After the dives your PADI instructor will sign your paperwork to verify you have successfully completed your certification dives.
• 2 beautiful dives on Roatan spectacular reef.
If you have completed your academics and confined water at home we would be happy to complete your certifications dives here on Roatan. You need to bring your paper work which has to be a PADI referral form or a universal referral form.
We go any day of the week and you can start the tour at 8am, 10am and 1pm. Please contact us if these times do not fit your schedule and we should be able to work something out.
Cost – OW 1 and 2 - $130
OW 3 and 4 - $160 which includes your PADI certification
Snorkeling
Private boat snorkel trip
This is a 3 hrs trip from when you arrive at our dive shop. It includes:
• Snorkeling at 2 places in Roatan’s beautiful Marine Park
• Cooler with soft drinks and water
• Snorkel equipment, life vests and guide provided
If you have never snorkeled before we will help you get used to the equipment in the shallow water off our beach before heading out to the reef, which is anything from 3 – 10 minutes away. The coral is really beautiful here and the reef is as shallow as 8 feet. You can also expect to see plenty of exotic fish, hopefully a turtle and maybe some rays, eels, lobster and conch. Your guide will have identification slates and be able to point out all the interesting things.
We go any day of the week and any time which fits with your schedule.
